On Saturday afternoon Bergamo was buzzing with black & blue life, so many supporters made their way into the centre of Bergamo to be part of the event celebrations.
Atalanta flags were flying out of apartment windows, horns were beeping amidst a Bergamo that hadn't any traffic, there were rowdy groups of Atalanta t-shirts singing and waving their scarves and flags all fondly awaiting 9pm when the players would make their appearance on an open top bus, followed by an appearance on stage.
The Atalanta fans were wild, both driven by excitement and fuelled by alcohol... the Atalantino blood was running through the heart of the town... and at midnight, as the lights went out, the pubs filled up and the celebrations went on deep into the night.
